Demon Slayer: To The Swordsmith Village Film Gets Stamped With ‘A’ Rating In India

As the release date for Demon Slayer: To the Swordsmith Village film in India approaches closer, watching the much awaited anime movie in the theatre with like minded people might turn out to be a distant dream for many, as PVR brings an unfortunate news.

According to their latest press release the Indian Censor Board has given the movie a big “A” censor rating. The Central Board Of Film Certification stated that the movie featured heavy violence and falls under the ‘Gory’ category.

This would mean anyone under 18 will be prohibited from watching the film in the theatres, despite the continued efforts by PVR to make it available for all the Indian fans.

It would also be a huge set back for the theatres as the majority of the fans come under the 13-18 age group.

However, on the bright side, with this ‘A’ rating, Demon Slayer: To the Swordsmith Village will release in Indian theatres without any cuts.
