Crunchyroll recently updated their PS4 app and has revealed new improvements to browsing, video playback and stability, searching, subtitles and more.
The updates revealed by Crunchyroll are as follows:
- Home Screen: You can now browse through new and continuously updated curated collections on your home page. It will also display featured and popular shows on Crunchyroll!
- Video Playback (Powered by Velocity): The video player performance has improved with stability enhancements. It includes subtitle language changes during video playback and you can even turn them off entirely.
- Watchlist: Quick and easy access to your list of shows.
- Watch History: A list of previous episodes you watched recently.
- Browse Screen: The entire Crunchyroll library which you can sort based on popularity, recently added, alphabetical, or by genre.
- Search: You can now search both by show names and episode names.
- App Language: The app now supports additional languages including Spanish, Portuguese, Italian, French, German, Russian and Arabic!
