The anime streaming site, Crunchyroll, will be holding its Crunchyroll Anime Awards event at Tokyo’s Grand Prince Hotel’s ‘Hiten’ venue. The event will be conducted on March 4, 2023 and will be streamed on all social media channels of Crunchyroll.

The event’s planning and operations will be overlooked by Crunchyroll as well Sony Music Solutions.

Back in August 2021, Crunchyroll was acquired by Sony Group and is a joint venture between Aniplex USA and Sony Pictures Entertainment.

In addition to anime streaming, Crunchyroll is working on expanding its other services such as games, merchandise, events, theatre distribution, etc. The Crunchyroll Anime Awards is part of this initiative which focuses on increasing and capturing fan-base.

This is the 7th year of Crunchyroll holding this event. Nominations for the same will begin soon.

The last years event saw a growth in the footfall of anime fans. The winners for last years events are as follows:
