The Crunchyroll Anime Awards 2025 will mark a major milestone for Indian anime fans, as the event will be live-streamed with a Hindi dub for the first time.
It will also be available in English, Arabic, French, Spanish, and other languages.
The live-streamed event will kick off at 1:30 p.m. IST on Sunday, May 25, 2025, with simultaneous global broadcasts across the following time zones:
- Los Angeles, US – 1 a.m. PST
- New York, US – 4 a.m. EST
- London, England – 9 a.m. GMT
- Paris, France – 10 a.m. CET
- Sydney, Australia – 6 p.m. AEDT
- São Paulo, Brazil – 5 a.m. BRT
- Mexico City, Mexico – 2 a.m. CST
- Singapore – 4 p.m. SGT
The ceremony will be livestreamed on Crunchyroll’s Twitch and YouTube channels, Sony Pictures Core, and the Sony Group Corp Global YouTube Channel.
This marks a nearly 50% increase from last year’s 34 million votes.

The live ceremony will feature performances by Japanese singer LiSA, hip-hop duo Creepy Nuts, and rock band FLOW.
Japanese voice actress Sally Amaki and entertainer Jon Kabira will host the event. Notable presenters will include global music artist J Balvin, GRAMMY-winning singer Kacey Musgraves, and screenwriter Zak Penn.
Hiroki Totoki, President and CEO of Sony Group Corporation, will deliver opening remarks.
The ninth annual event will take place at the Grand Prince Hotel Shin Takanawa in Tokyo.
