Chainsaw Man’s Official Twitter Account Spoils A Character’s Story Arc For Fans

The spoilers were present in the wallpapers that the official account released.

The official twitter account of Chainsaw Man manga posted 3 new wallpapers as giveaways in order to celebrate the account reaching 680,000 followers. However, one of these wallpapers has a huge spoiler for a certain character’s arc in the manga.

Fair Warning: The following part of the article contains spoilers for Chainsaw Man manga!

The third wallpaper that the account posted shows Denji as the Chainsaw Man protecting Power and her cat from Aki, who has become the Gun Fiend.

Aki’s transformation into the Gun Fiend doesn’t happen until the latter stages of the Chainsaw Man manga, and spoils not just the character’s story but also one of the best character arcs in the manga.

However, one could argue that it would be hard to point out that the Gun Fiend in the wallpaper is really Aki. But the top-knot is an unmistakable feature that identifies the character as the former Public Safety Devil Hunter.

The wallpaper also has the text ‘#77 Chainsaw Man’, which refers to the chapter number in which Aki’s transformation into a Gun Fiend is revealed.

A couple of fans too pointed this out in the comments.

Fans who were already familiar with the development were sad to see Aki as the Gun fiend.

The other two wallpapers were that of the Bomb Devil dishing out a sound beating to Denji, and Quanxi sharing a sensual moment with her gang.
