Jump Festa 2025 unveiled a brand new trailer for Chainsaw Man – The Movie: Reze Arc, confirming its release in 2025.
Two visuals were also revealed at the event: one featuring the Chainsaw Man and another showcasing Denji and Reze.


Tatsuya Yoshihara, who directed the 4th and 10th episodes of Chainsaw Man anime, will helm the anime film. He also served as a director and then Chief Director for Black Clover anime.

MAPPA describes the plot of Chainsaw Man – The Movie: Reze Arc as:
Denji became “Chainsaw Man”, a boy with a devil’s heart, and is now part of Special Division 4’s devil hunters. After a date with Makima, the woman of his dreams, Denji takes shelter from the rain. There he meets Reze, a girl who works in a café.
Chainsaw Man aired in Japan from Oct 11, 2022, to Dec 27, 2022.
The anime had 12 episodes with a different ending theme song for each episode.
Chainsaw Man is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Tatsuki Fujimoto. Its first arc was serialized in Shueisha’s shonen manga magazine Weekly Shonen Jump from December 2018 to December 2020; its second arc began serialization in Shueisha’s Shonen Jump+ online magazine in July 2022.
Its chapters have been collected in 19 tankobon volumes as of December 2024.
