Official website of Chainsaw Man anime revealed new cast members for Angel Devil, Shark Fiend, Violence Fiend, Spider Devil, Katana Man, and Akane Sawatari on Oct 7, 2022.

Here is a list of the newly announced voice acting cast along with their comments:

Maaya Uchida as Angel Devil

I will be in charge of the Angel devil in “Chainsaw Man”.
At the time of the audition and when I received the news that I had been accepted, I
couldn’t stop the excitement in my head . I would like to keep going like this, so please stay with me!

Saori Goto as Spider Devil

My name is Saori Goto, and I will be playing the role of a spider devil.
When I entered the scene, I saw the sincerity with which all the staff and cast members faced the work.
I was so moved. I would like to respectfully stand by their thoughts and feelings, and I hope to work with all the people who love “The Chainsaw Man”. I hope that everyone who loves ” Chainsaw Man” will be happy.

Daiki Hamano as Katana Man

Comment:

When it was decided that I would be the voice of Katana Man, I was so surprised and happy. Katana Man is a powerful enemy in the early stages of the story, yet he has a somewhat lovable and goofy quality to him.

Yo Taichi as Akane Sawatari

Comment:

I read the book imagining what it would sound like if it were animated, and I am honoured to be involved in one of my favourite works. During the audition I had been thinking “I want to see this kind of play by Chainsaw Man” and I put my plan into action. I gave it my best shot. I was very impressed by his calm tone of voice and his elusive personality. Through the animation I will be happy if more and more people want to know more about Akane Sawatari through the anime.

Chainsaw Man anime will start airing in Japan on Oct 11, 2022.

Ryu Nakayama is directing Chainsaw Man anime at MAPPA studio. Hiroshi Seko is writing the scripts, and Kazutaka Sugiyama is designing the characters.

 Chainsaw Man anime will have 12 episodes with a different ending theme song for each episode.

The opening theme song of the anime KICK BACK, will be performed by Kenshi Yonezu and is composed by King Gnu and Daiki Tsuneta (from Millenium Parade).

Maximum The Hormone will also be performing an insert song in the anime. 

Crunchyroll will be streaming the Chainsaw Man anime in over 200 countries and territories across the globe, except Asia, while Media Link, which run Ani-One YouTube channel, brought the rights to stream the anime in Asia, including China.
