Naseer Pasha, Castlevania‘s animator, uploaded a 11-minute Dragon Ball fan film animated, directed and storyboarded by him, on YouTube on July 7, 2022. The film is titled LEGEND – A DRAGON BALL TALE.

The video has garnered over three million views as of writing.

Legend- A Dragon Ball Tale, a non- profit fan film made under the banner of Studio Stray Dogs, was completed in a span of 4 years. Everything from footage to music to audio samples for the project were created from the scratch by the team.

Pasha created the film as a token of gratitude to Toriyama, for the worlds he created for the children of 90’s.

“Mr. Toriyama, please accept this as a small token of gratitude, and as a grand love letter to the worlds that you’ve created and shared with all us children of the 90’s. The inspiration will forever remain immeasurable.”

He also dedicated the film for all the die-hard fans of Dragon Ball franchise.

“To every children who believed that they could train in 100 times the earth’s gravity, and to every artist who taped Dragon Ball Z and paused it to draw their favourite heroes, this is dedicated to you.”

Pasha ends the video by teasing that the next film might take another 4 years to create.

The synopsis for the film is as follows:
