Aniplex’s YouTube channel announced in a special program on Oct 14, 2023 that Bochi The Rock! anime’s compilation film (omnibus edition) will be released in two parts. The special program was streamed to commemorate the one year anniversary of the anime.
As revealed previously, the first part of the film will release in Spring 2024, whereas the second compilation film will be released in summer 2024.
A new trailer for Bocchi The Rock! compilation film was also revealed along with a key visual.
Yoshino Aoyama who voices Hitori Goto in the anime revealed that she was informed about the compilation films in the middle of a meeting. She expressed her excitement of getting an opportunity to experience Bocchi the Rock! anime on the big screen.

I’m really happy that you can feel the best animation and music of ‘Bocchi the Rock!’ in your body at such a great place as the cinema. I hope it will be a wonderful screening where people who love it will gather. BTR! BTR! BTR!“
Season 1 of the anime adaptation produced by CloverWorks aired from October to December 2022.
Bocchi the Rock! is a Japanese four-panel manga series written and illustrated by Aki Hamaji. It has been serialized in Houbunsha’s seinen manga magazine Manga Time Kirara Max since December 2017. Its chapters have been collected in five tankōbon volumes as of November 2022.
