Blue Lock anime’s official twitter account apologized for listing the broadcast date of the anime as 2023 in one of their previous tweets and rectified the error stating that the release date of the anime is still 2022.
“The correct version is ‘Broadcasting in 2022’. Sincerest apologies,” the tweet read.
In an earlier tweet which announced the release of Blue Lock manga’s first chapter in the Manga Pocket app, the anime’s official account had listed the broadcast date as 2023.
“TV anime #Blue Lock will be broadcast in 2023,” a part of the old tweet read.
This led to confusion in the fanbase, who speculated that Blue Lock anime would be delayed due to unforeseen reasons.
However, a few fans also suggested that the PR team might have made a mistake in the caption since the official website and Twitter username has not updated the premiere date, nor had they announced it in any press release.
