The official website of Bleach: Thousand Year Blood War announced the fourth cour of the anime following the broadcast of the final episode of cour 3 on Dec 29, 2024.
Titled Bleach: Thousand Year Blood War – The Calamity, it will serve as the final part of the Thousand Year Blood War arc.
An announcement PV and a visual were also revealed.
Cour 3 of Bleach TYBW aired from Oct 5, 2024, to Dec 28, 2024.
Six Lounge performed the opening theme song ‘Without Any Word,’ while Suisoh performed the ending theme song ‘Monochrome’.
The chief director Tomohisa Taguchi had recently revealed in an interview that they clicked staff photos to use as references to animate key scenes in the anime that were hard to visualise.
Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War is an anime series based on the Bleach manga series by Tite Kubo and a direct sequel to the Bleach anime series that ran from 2004 until 2012.
Bleach: Thousand Year Blood War cour 1 aired in Japan on Oct 10, 2022, and ended on Dec 26, 2022, with a one-hour long special episode, combining episodes 12 and 13 of the anime.
Cour 2 of the anime started airing on July 8, 2023.
It was previously revealed that anime will be split into four cours, with breaks in between.
