The special Twitter account of Bleach Art Exhibition revealed a spectacular promotional video on Monday for its first original art exhibition event, in the spirit of commemorating 20years of Bleach manga. The exhibition featuring art from Tite Kubo’s popular manga will be open on the 9th floor of Shibuya Hikarie in Tokyo from December 18, 2021, to January 16, 2022.

Further to commemorate Bleach’s 20years, author Tite Kubo revived the manga for the first time in about five years, with a 73 page long one-shot including a center color page, in the 36th and 37th merger issue of the manga magazine “Weekly Shonen Jump” (Shueisha) released today.

The one shot of the series is also available on the Manga Plus website.

To top it off, during Bleach’s 20th-anniversary project announcement, it was also revealed that the “Thousand-Year Blood War” arc will receive an anime adaptation as the 17th season for the series.

Tite Kubo’s Bleach follows the adventures of the hotheaded teenager Ichigo Kurosaki, who inherits his parents’ destiny after he obtains the powers of a Soul Reaper—a death personification similar to the Grim Reaper—from another Soul Reaper, Rukia Kuchiki. His newfound powers force him to take on the duties of defending humans from evil spirits and guiding departed souls to the afterlife and set him on journeys to various ghostly realms of existence.
