Yuki Tabata’s Black Clover manga’s 33rd manga volume is set to release on November 4, 2022. The official cover for the 33rd volume of the manga also revealed that the manga has 18 million copies in circulation globally.
The 18 million copies is a combined figure containing print and digital releases.

Black Clover manga had been on a hiatus for “about 3 months” from issue #23 of Weekly Shonen Jump. Tabata was on a break to rest and plan the final arc of the manga.
The upcoming Black Clover anime film titled “Black Clover: Sword of the Wizard King“ revealed eight new scene cuts on Oct 31, 2022. The scene cuts feature Asta, Yuno, Julius Novachrono, and Yami Sukehiro.
Former wizard king Konrad Leto holding the Emperor’s Sword can also been seen in the cuts.
Black Clover movie will hit the Japanese theatres on March 31, 2023, and will also be distributed worldwide on Netflix.
The film is being directed by Ayataka Tanemura, with screenplay by Johnny Otoda and Ai Orii. Itsuko Takeda will serve as the character designer, and Minako Seki in charge of music. Yuki Tabata will also be supervising the film and provide original character designs.
Black Clover is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Yūki Tabata. It has been serialized in Shueisha’s Weekly Shōnen Jump magazine since February 2015, with its chapters collected in 32 tankōbon volumes as of April 2022.
The manga was first adapted into an original video animation produced by Xebec Zwei, released in 2017. An anime television series adaptation produced by Pierrot aired in Japan on TV Tokyo from October 2017 to March 2021. An anime film is set to premiere in 2023.
The story follows Asta, a young boy born without any magic power. This is unknown to the world he lives in because seemingly everyone has some sort of magic power. With his fellow mages from the Black Bulls, Asta plans to become the next Wizard King.
