The Internet Movie Database (IMDb) rating of the latest episode of Attack on Titan: The Final Season Part 2 dropped from a perfect score to 9.9 on Jan 25, 2022. The episode had maintained a 10/10 rating for a few hours since its broadcast on Jan 23, 2022.
The episode titled “Two Brothers” was review bombed by more than 1800 users, who rated it “1 star” on the platform. The average rating of the episode currently stands at 9.9 from over 22,000 reviews.
Despite the drop in rating, the episode was well received and fans took to Twitter to express their reactions after Attack on Titan Final season Part 2 Episode 3 aired.
What drew their attention the most was the beautiful animation by MAPPA. Especially the scenes during Eren’s entry to the World of Paths, and the animation of the eyes have received tremendous praise from the fans.
While anime-only fans were going crazy over the animation and the plot development, some netizens could not keep themselves from making enough memes when they saw Eren’s head rolling.
The final season of Attack on Titan resumed on Jan 9, 2022, temporarily disabling the servers of Funimation and Crunchyroll services. The anime is set to conclude on March 27, 2022.
The 4th episode of the season is scheduled to be released on Jan 29, 2022.
