A trailer was revealed to commemorate the announcement.

Attack On Titan creator Hajime Isayama expressed his excitement about the upcoming performances, stating, “When I saw the Tokyo performance, I was overwhelmed by the intensity of the stage. I felt that the medium of musical theater is a perfect fit for the work of Attack on Titan. The actions and songs of the performers create a new Attack on Titan that is distinct from both the original manga and the anime. They have crafted an incredibly wonderful stage, and I can’t wait for the people of New York to see it. I hope you look forward to the start of the performances“.

Attack On Titan: The Musical will combine the traditional stage techniques with that of the latest technologies and tricks along with music to recreate the world of Attack on Titan.

The musical adaptation first premiered in Osaka’s Orix Theatre in January 2023.
