Attack On Titan has an exciting announcement in store for all the fans, as it has been revealed that Hajime Isayama’s magnum opus will be receiving a new 18 page manga.

Titled “Bad Boys,” the new manga is scheduled to release on April 30, 2024.

The new manga will be released alongside the ‘first and the final’ Attack On Titan artbook, “titled Attack on Titan Fly“. It is a 200 page fully coloured artbook consisting of illustrations by Isayama.

Attack on Titan Fly will also include a redrawn version of the final chapter of the manga series.

A special message by mangaka Hajime Isayama has also been revealed:

My name is Hajime Isayama. It has been about two and a half years since I finished the serialization of “Attack on Titan.

I have decided to release a color art book. I am very honored. I am happy to have the compilation of my past work in a book.

I would like to say proudly, “I am very happy to have compiled all of my work into a book,” but in fact, I have only done line drawings for the color illustrations, and I asked a certain person to do the coloring work for me.

I am proud to say that I am known for not excelling at drawing, so there is no way I could do such a great coloring job. I believe that this work would not have been possible without the presence of the specialist who has been in charge of the coloring of “Attack on Titan” since the beginning of the serialization and has supported the serialization.

I would be happy if the color art book to be released this time focuses on those who have continued to support the series behind the scenes.

Now, I am writing a new manga for this book. It will be included in the special edition of “Attack on Titan Vol. 35” as a bonus manga. I hope you will look forward to it.

As of September 2023, the manga has over 120 million tankōbon copies in print worldwide, making it one of the best-selling manga series of all time. It has won several awards, including the Kodansha Manga Award, the Attilio Micheluzzi Award, and the Harvey Award.

In North America, the series was published in English by Kodansha USA.

Season 1-3 of the anime was produced by Wit Studio and season 4 by MAPPA.

The fourth and the Final Season’s Part 1 started airing on Dec 7, 2020, while Part 2 premiered on Jan 9, 2022 in Japan. Crunchyroll and Funimation were streaming the episodes simultaneously as they aired.

Attack On Titan Final Season Part 3 Part 1 aired as a one-hour special, and released on March 3, 2023.

Attack On Titan Final Season Part 3 Part 2 is set to air on Nov 4, 2023.
