Ash Reunites With Brock & Misty For His Final Episodes In Pokémon Anime

The series will also feature the previous theme song from the original 1997 series called "Mezase Pokemon Master".

The final episodes of Ash’s Pokémon Journey are about to begin from January 13, 2022 and to hit us in our “Kokoro’s” (hearts) Ash is going to reunite with his very first team, Misty, Brock and several of his gen 1 and other Pokémon.

The info was revealed through the official Japanese trailer of the series Pokémon: Aim to Be a Pokémon Master:

The series has confirmed that in the first episode, Ash will end up healing an injured Latias and reunites with Misty in the second episode. Whereas, he meets with Brock and Cilan in the third episode.

The series will also feature the previous theme song from the original 1997 series called “Mezase Pokemon Master”. However, the song will be a renewed and remixed version of the old classic and will be called “Mezase Pokemon Master with my Friends”.

Ash’s journey will be concluded with special episodes, which will be aired to commemorate his historic win as a Pokémon Champion, as well as a tribute from Pokémon to the fans who have been with Ash throughout his journey.

The forthcoming special episodes not only celebrate our hero’s monumental achievement, but they also serve as an expression of gratitude from Pokémon to all the fans who have joined Ash and Pikachu along the way,” the official website wrote.

The specials will start airing from Jan 13, 2023. It will consist of 11 episodes.

Ash Ketchum had finally achieved his goal of becoming the world’s greatest Pokémon trainer in the latest episode of Pokémon Ultimate Journeys, which premiered in Japan on Nov 11, 2022.

Ash’s moment of glory was aired on the big screen at Shibuya, Tokyo, with fans watching it in awe.

The official website of Pokémon announced Dec 16, 2022, that the franchise is getting a new anime series featuring an original story and new main characters, including popular Pokémon such as Sprigatito, Fuecoco, and Quaxly from the Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet video games.

The protagonists of the new Pokémon anime are a girl and a boy named Liko and Roy. The anime will air in 2023 “and beyond”.

The upcoming anime will only commence after the conclusion of the currently airing Pokémon Ultimate Journeys: The Series.

Pokémon anime first premiered on TV Tokyo in April 1997. The anime franchise has seven sequential series, all based on an installation of Pokémon video game.

Pokémon Ultimate Journeys: The Series is the twenty-fifth and current season of the Pokémon anime series, and the third and final season of Pokémon Journeys: The Series.
