Arifureta: From Commonplace to World’s Strongest Anime Announces 3rd Season

A new key visual and an announcement video was revealed.

 Arifureta: From Commonplace to World’s Strongest has announced on Sep 10, 2022, that the anime will be getting a 3rd season. The announcement was made during the pre-screening of Arifureta’s OVA,  Maboroshi no Bouken to Kiseki no Kaigou (Phantom Adventure and A Miraculous Encounter), held at Shinjuku Piccadilly, Tokyo.

An announcement video as well as a key visual have been revealed. The setting of season 3 will be Haltina Jukai aka Haltina Sea of Trees.

The main cast includes:

Toshinari Fukamachi as Hajime Nagumo
Yuuki Kuwahara as Yue
Minami Takahashi as Shea
Yoko Hikasa as Tio Klarus
Saori Onishi as Kaori Shirasaki
Yumiri Hanamori as Shizuku Yaegashi

Akira Iwanaga, who was in charge of directing OVA and season 2 of the anime, will return for season 3.

More information for season 3 will be revealed at a later date.

Season 1 of Arifureta was adapted by White Fox and Asread aired from July to October 2019. A second season by Asread and Studio Mother aired from January to March 2022.

Maboroshi no Bouken to Kiseki no Kaigou (Phantom Adventure and A Miraculous Encounter) OVA will be released on Sep 25, 2022.

Arifureta: From Commonplace to World’s Strongest is a Japanese light novel series written by Ryo Shirakome and illustrated by Takayaki. Originally a web novel, the series has been published in print since 2015. The novels are licensed in English by J-Novel Club, with Seven Seas Entertainment publishing them in print. The English translation of the light novel was done by Murtaza Burhan. A prequel light novel was published in 2017.

The series has received a manga adaptation, serialized on Ovelap’s Comic Gardo website since 2016, as well as a yonkoma comedy spinoff and a manga adaptation of the prequel novel, all three licensed by Seven Seas.
