The official website of the world’s largest anime song event “Anisama” revealed on March 21, 2022, that the 17th live event “Animelo Summer Live 2022 -Sparkle-” will be held in August for three days, from 26 – 28, 2022, at the Saitama Super Arena.

The artist line-ups were also revealed. A total of 48 groups were announced to perform live in this year’s event.

Anisama’s first-day performance will open with Aimi , Asaka , ASCA , Masayoshi Oishi, Akari Onishi , Airi Suzuki , Konomi Suzuki , CHiCO with HoneyWorks , Tempest of the Moon, Sunny Peace, Nao Toyama , TRUE , Yuki Nakashima , Shugo Nakamura , Merm4id, RAISE A SUILEN, Rinmaikyoku and others on Aug 26.

Followed by, Aii Eile / Amamiya Sora / angela / Ishihara Natsuori / Ito Miku / Uma Musume Pretty Derby / Ohashi Ayaka / Kajiwara Taketo / GRANRODEO / ZAQ / Spira Spica / DIALOGUE + / FLOW / MADKID / ReoNa and others on the second day.

Uma Musume will perform for the second time in three years on Anisama’s live event.

And on Aug 28, i ☆ Ris, ARCANA PROJECT, Maaya Uchida, Yuma Uchida, Saji, GYROAXIA, Aina Suzuki, Minori Suzuki, 777 ☆ SISTERS, 4U, KARAKURI, TrySail, Kana Hanazawa, halca, Nagi Yanagi, WANDS will participate among others.

“Anisama 2022” will have the theme “Sparkle,” which as the official website described expresses the sparkle of youth, a popping summer, and the dynamism of live performances.

The theme song of “Anisama 2022” is written by Kanata Nakamura, composed and arranged by Hidekazu Tanaka.

Animelo Summer Live, abbreviated as Anisama, is the biggest annual anime songs music festival in Japan hosted by Dwango and Nippon Cultural Broadcasting. Animelo Summer Live has been held every summer since 2005.

Starting with Anisama Girl’s Night in 2010, there have been many spinoff Animelo events. Animelo has a different theme song for each year, which is sung by all performers at the end of the concert.
