The announcement, which was shared on Aniplex’s official X account, featured a mystery visual, promising a full reveal on Feb 24, 2024, at 18:00 JST.
The visual showcases two girls standing beside a motorcycle in the streets of Shibuya.
The full reveal on Feb 24 will include a PV for the anime on Aniplex’s YouTube channel.
While the visual doesn’t offer any kinds of hint, fans are already speculating that the anime could be an adaptation of Sakae Saito’s Touring After The Apocalypse (Shuumatsu Touring).
The sci-fi adventure manga follows two girls who travel across post-apocalyptic Japan on a motorcycle, taking in the sights despite the collapse of civilization. Even when the world ends, their journey goes on.
Aniplex has, however, kept the details tightly under wraps.
