The official twitter account of AnimeJapan revealed a list of nominees for their annual “Manga We Want to See Animated Ranking” poll on Jan 20, 2023. Among these are some prominent new ones including Blue Box, Akane-banashi, Choujin X, Dandadan, Sakamoto Days, MarriageToxin, Gachiakuta and others.

A total of 92 manga are present in the list of “Manga We Want to See Animated Ranking”. Only those titles without an anime adaptation, which had a volume sold between Jan 1, 2022 to Dec 31, 2022, or was being serialized in this period (except one shots) are being considered for the poll.

The poll will be open till Feb 3, 2023; following which the results will be announced on March 25-26, 2023. This is the 6th edition of the poll.
