The animation business wing of Asahi Broadcasting Group, ABC animation formed an alliance with WEB3 design company THE BATTLE on September 22, 2022. The aim of this alliance is to create new Intellectual Properties in WEB3 Domain based on Anime and games.

By joining hands with THE BATTLE, ABC animation has which has a proven track record in the WEB3 field using cutting-edge IT tech such as blockchain and NFT, the company aims to utilize the group’s resources.

THE BATTLE, established in 2021 in Tokyo, has been attracting attention for its digital creativity such as developing NFT characters for blockchain based game, “Isekai Battle” along with new animation production mechanism of “Crypto Ninja”.

ABC Animation and THE BATTLE claim to be working together to “create new IP and produce new contents for multimedia development” and “promote multi-platform projects to create new IP and nurture and discover next-generation artists through the use of NFT“. The main aim of the company’s strategy will be to create new IP using NFT.
