A Couple Of Cuckoos Comes Under Criticism After TV Anime Skips Panty Scene

Fans around the world commented that this regulation in the anime was unnecessary.

The latest episode of Shin-Ei Animation and SynergySP’s A Couple Of Cuckoos anime came under a lot of criticism after the series failed to adapt a fan favourite scene from the manga.

The scene from the manga which showed the panty of a female character was censored in the 3rd episode of the anime in Japan.

Fans around the world commented that this regulation in the anime was unnecessary. Some fans also note that the recent censoring happened due to Shin-Ei animation producing it and TV Asahi being the distributor, as both the companies were popular for featuring children’s animation.

“TV Asahi people are such feminists”.

“Why did the original work keep the pants after revision even though if animated it would get censored?”

However, some fans speculated that the scene was censored to pass the creative restrictions in the West.
