Chainsaw Man Manga Part 2 Launches On Shonen Jump+ In Early Summer 2022

The official Twitter account of Chainsaw Man streamed a teaser PV for the upcoming Chainsaw Man Part 2 manga, following the Jump Festa 2022 interview with Chainsaw man creator Tatsuki Fujimoto and editor Shihei Lin on Dec 18,2021. The second part of the manga will begin serialization in Shonen Jump+ in early Summer 2022 and will feature the “Gakkō-hen” (School Arc).

The teaser also announced that the Chainsaw Man anime will air in 2022.

Shihei Lin — the editor for the Chainsaw Man manga — announced on Twitter after the Super stage event that the first part of the manga-  the “Kōan” (Public Safety) arc has 12 million copies in circulation.

Fujimoto debuted the manga in Weekly Shonen Jump in December 2018. The first part ended in December 2020.

The manga was nominated for the 13th Manga Taisho awards in 2019, and ranked at #4 on the Kono Manga ga Sugoi! 2020 (This Manga Is Amazing!) guidebook’s top manga for male readers. The manga won in the Best Shōnen Manga category at the 66th Shogakukan Manga Awards in January. Additionally, the manga topped the Kono Manga ga Sugoi! 2021 list for male readers. The manga won the Best Manga award at The Harvey Awards in October.
