Azuki Manga Service Announces Exclusive Partnership With Kaiten Books

Companies released the third volume of Gacha Girls Corps early.

KiraKira Media Inc.’s digital manga subscription service, Azuki, announced in a press release on Wednesday, Dec 15, 2021, that the manga service has become the exclusive streaming manga partner for Los Angeles-based manga publisher, Kaiten Books‘.

Azuki will be the only streaming manga subscription service to offer current and future volumes of Kaiten’s series, including The Yakuza’s Guide to Babysitting and My Dad’s the Queen of All VTubers?!, which launched with the service, as well as new series released by Kaiten Books.

The series that launched with Azuki are:

  • UzaMaid – Our Maid is Way Too Annoying!
  • Gacha Girls Corps
  • The Yakuza’s Guide to Babysitting
  • My Dad’s the Queen of All VTubers?!

The companies released the third volume of Gacha Girls Corps early ahead of its ebook release.

In September, Azuki teamed up with Glacier Bay and Star Fruit Books to offer a selection of their critically acclaimed indie manga on their service.

The new digital manga streaming service, Azuki debuted on June 28, 2021, on iOS, Android, and web browsers in English globally except Japan. The service offers simulpub manga chapters shortly after they launch in Japan in addition to a library of other titles.

Azuki has collaborated with Kodansha USA as its first partner to make the most popular titles of Japanese publishers available for on-demand viewing.

Select chapters with advertisements are available to free users. Customers can also purchase a subscription for US$4.99 that allows them to read manga without advertising. Each chapter includes comment threads for registered user conversations.
