Komi can’t Communicate Anime New Key Visual Surfaces Online

the official Twitter for the romantic comedy manga Komi Can't Communicate has posted a tweet asking for questions from fans to the original author. Selected answers will be published in the forthcoming Fanbook to be released in October.

New information for Tomohito Oda’s hugely popular, ongoing manga Komi Can’t Communicate TV anime adaptation has surfaced online revealing a new key visual with the broadcast date and additional cast members. The official announcement of the information will be on August 18th, 2021.

The leaks reveal the broadcast date to be October 6, 2021. Even if it is not released officially, we can get a sneak peek at our central characters Shoko Komi and Tadano Hitoshi, and the other classmates.

The additional cast of Komi’s classmates include:

  • Narrator: Noriko Hidaka
  • Agari Himiko: Yukiyo Fujii
  • Ren Yamai: Rina Hidaka
  • Omoharu Nakanaka: Rumi Okubo

Furthermore, the official Twitter for the romantic comedy manga Komi Can’t Communicate has posted a tweet asking for questions from fans to the original author. Selected answers will be published in the forthcoming Fanbook to be released in October.

Fans can post their question to Oda-sensei with the hashtag #tellmekomi or reply to the tweet below. The deadline is August 14.

The manga’s live-action TV drama adaptation is also in the works for a premiere in Japan on September 6, 2021.

Komi Can’t Communicate follows the comedic and awkward adventures of its titular protagonist Komi, an attractive high school girl whose social anxiety prevents her from speaking to her classmates. When she and wallflower Hitohito Tadano find themselves alone in their classroom on the first day of high school, they somehow become friends, and Komi reveals to Tadano her goal to make a hundred friends. Tadano agrees to help her, and the two set off on their quest to overcome personal awkwardness and to befriend each of their classmates.
