The official Youtube Channel of ODEX Anime has announced on 23rd June, that the highly acclaimed box-office hit “Demon Slayer Movie: Mugen Train” will premiere in India on July 15, 2021.

However, PVR Cinemas, one of the largest foreign-language movie distributors and also the official distributor of this blockbuster movie in India has not confirmed the release date yet.

ODEX Pvt. Ltd., based in Singapore, is the leading Japanese Animation Programs(Films and TV series) distributor in South East Asia. According to ODEX Anime, the movie will release in both Japanese Dub with English Sub and English Dub in India.

The Oscar nominated, 40th Fujimoto Award winning movie Demon Slayer – Kimetsu no Yaiba – The Movie: Mugen Train opened in Japan on October 16, 2020 and is now the highest grossing anime and Japanese film (animated or live action) of all time. The film opened on 403 screens (including 38 IMAX theaters), is the fastest film to achieve over $100 million at the box offices in Japan after only 10 days in theaters, and is the most successful IMAX release of all time in the market. The film opened at #1 in Australia and New Zealand last month.

Tanjiro, Nezuko, Zenitsu, and Inosuke board a train to assist the Flame Hashira Kyōjurō Rengoku in his mission to hunt for a demon that has killed many demon slayers. Soon after boarding, all of them are enchanted and fall into a deep sleep. Enmu, Lower Rank One of the Twelve Kizuki, instructs four passengers, all suffering from severe insomnia, to enter the demon slayers’ dreams and destroy their spiritual cores so that they can’t wake up again. In exchange, Enmu will allow them a peaceful sleep.
