Rei Hiroe ‘s “Black Lagoon” has achieved 20 years of serialization this April. A large-scale original painting exhibition will take place to commemorate the 20th anniversary of the publication of the series. A key visual released on 19th May 2021 as a sneak peeks of the exhibition.

Previously, the franchise opened a “BLACK LAGOON Ani-Art POP UP SHOP” in AMNIBUS STORE / MAGNET, Shibuya. The pop-up shop was open from May 7th (Fri) -May 23rd (Sun), 2021. In addition to other merchandise, it also sold exclusive character illustrations and “BLACKLAGOON” merchandise from the “Ani-Art” series.
Black Lagoon is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Rei Hiroe. Starting with the one-shot publication in the April issue of GX in 2001, it became a formal serialization in Shogakukan’s seinen manga magazine Monthly Sunday Gene-X since 2002. A 12-episode anime television series adaptation produced by Madhouse also aired in Japan from April to June 2006. A 12-episode second season, subtitled “The Second Barrage”, ran from October to December 2006. A 5-episode original video animation (OVA) series, Roberta’s Blood Trail, also aired from July 2010 to June 2011.
